Laurence James

Laurence brings over 30 years of experience and expertise in corporate finance and has been a partner in national heavyweight firms such as Eversheds and Bond Pearce. He has undertaken virtually every kind of corporate finance & company law transaction ranging from company formations to flotations on AIM & The London Stock Exchange, but the bulk of his involvement has been with regionally based, small to medium sized enterprises, owner-managed businesses and trading partnerships.

He has project managed countless acquisitions and sales of shares and assets, as well as successfully negotiated numerous private equity deals and management buy-outs & buy-ins. He has been recognised as a leader in his field by Legal 500 and by Chambers Directory and has excellent presentational & communication skills. His particular strengths lie in analysis, evaluation, drafting & negotiation and he has a detailed knowledge of the marketplace in England and South Wales, with an excellent network of intermediaries throughout. Amongst his many other interests, he is a Director of The Cardiff Business Club, The Wales Management Council and has played an active role in many businesses established to promote the development of small to medium sized enterprises.
